The car battery lost it's charge this morning. It took me an hour to buy a replacement and install it. So now the car starts.

Study

According to the little school, one can take seven classesalong with seven exams, and become certified as a system engineer, and database analyst. It goes like this: each class is 40 hours, and might take another 40 hours to read and study the big assed book that goes with it. Add in another 20 hours for review. Seven classes would amount to an effort of 700 hours by December? Interview and start work by January. Neat Plan.

Escrow closed two weeks ago, and the whopping 3 figure check posted right into my account. And the next day, ...well my bank was bought by a healthier bank. Now, that 3 figure sum, it's all I got, and I'm thinking I ought to go to the ATM and get it in $20's. Hide it in my wallet for safe keeping.

Actually, now that I think about it. The 10k baht note I kept as a souvenier from Bangkok is looking like a really smart foreign currency investment. It's currently worth more than what I got my for place.
